High risk traffic collision due to poor visibility

Reported via mobile in the General category anonymously at 22:38, Friday 15 November 2024

Sent to Newcastle City Council 2 minutes later

The crest of the hill at the intersection of Madison Drive and Rosemont Street presents a serious risk of traffic collision due to the inability of drivers travelling either direction to see crossing traffic with any appreciable warning time. A convex mirror or similar device may be an option to mitigate this risk and provide motorists with a greater appreciation of the traffic conditions. The crest borders a large school zone which poses a greater risk to children walking to school or being dropped off nearby.
